I recently fine-tuned my Surly Troll with a different stem, set-back seatpost, and new bar tape, in tentative preparation for a late-season adventure in a place warmer than here. The Troll went on a little urban adventure this morning. What a fantastic machine!

Hello Jim
What kind of handlebars are those?
I'm curious why you're not running a flat mountain bar with the vintage thumbshifters?
The bar is a Salsa Woodchipper, which I find to be optimal for the type of riding I'm doing on this bike. The shifters are new, not "vintage".
Jim, can you post more pictures of your Troll and a rundown on how it's spec'd? It certainly seems like a great option for an off/all-road all-rounder.

How does this rig compare to your Goodrich custom?
The Troll is in many respects similar to the Goodrich, but different in subtle ways. I have decided to sell the Goodrich.
I've been thinking of getting Troll frame and doing somewhat similar set-up. Did the handlebar choice affect on how the frame size fits?
